Translation across languages
Draft in one language, render finished export PDFs and EPUBs in another. Initial pairs: English ↔ Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese. The line editor reads voice in the source language and preserves it in the target; the copy editor knows the target language's mechanics. Useful for writers in multilingual markets, indie publishers planning translations, and the increasing number of writers who draft in one language and publish in several.
